IRELAND is a dream holiday destination for pike anglers.

Pike can be found almost everywhere in Ireland. The Shannon and Erne waterways create a vast web of rivers and lakes in all sorts of shapes and sizes, some of them rarely fished – and all of them guaranteed to hold quality pike.

It doesn’t stop there. There are thousands of lakes around the island and in every county, along with more fine rivers such the fabulous Suck, a brilliant pike fishery that produced the Irish pike record of 42lb (19.05kg) with lots of specimen pike every year.

Our 2010 pike holiday programme will include the best pike waters, we will “cherry pick” the ideal accommodations, suggest specialist pike angling guides, provide information on where you can hire a boat and the detail bank angling hot-spots with easy access.

And one very important point – fishing licences are NOT required in Ireland.
